With over a decade of marketing experience, I am well-equipped to lead small-to-robust teams towards a shared vision, as well as always ready to get my hands dirty ideating & executing campaigns flying solo.

Social Media

I am a one-stop content shop when it comes to telling stories in punchy, informed, and relevant ways, through graphic design, copy, imagery & video— and know how to pull & analyze the data to inform next steps.

My work leading social strategy for El Rey Court was even featured by Meta in their business blog as a case study for how to do social well.

Experience includes:

  • Analyzing & defining actionable content strategy plans that drive tangible brand awareness & revenue results, for brands including hotels, restaurants, CPG, and nonprofits

  • Executing paid & organic social campaigns on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Google, and YouTube

  • Managing social media platforms for up to 17 boutique brands at a single time, which entailed creating organic content, community management, and running social ads, all with entirely different voices, audiences, and conversion goals

  • Shooting and editing photo & video content that is optimized for social based on rapidly changing trends, platform best practices, and within a range of budgets

  • Building and maintaining editorial calendars

  • Establishing KPIs, tweaking strategy on the fly, and reporting on actionable insights that clearly translate to a non-marketing audience

  • Defining a brand’s social strategy through voice, editing styles, content pillars, goals, and KPIs

Digital & Paid Media

Well-crafted content is only the half of it. For brands to actually reach their audience in today’s digital landscape, you often have to pay to play.

Whether for print, search, or social, I consider ad placement when crafting organic copy so it’s always just a boost away, in addition to having the chops to draft, design, and even place & report on full-scale ad campaigns.

And I’ve done it for a wide range of clients — from tech to hospitality to CPG brands, with budgets that range from that of DIY musicians to Fortune 500 companies.

Experience includes:

  • Developing, implementing, and reporting on holistic, on-brand & measurable campaigns across all digital touchpoints, organic and paid, including SEO/SEM, social, digital media, display advertising, remarketing, meta-search, and email

  • Testing strategies and providing best-practice recommendations to optimize campaigns

  • Proactively identifying audience growth opportunities, sharing insights, and partnering cross-functionally to achieve goals

  • Developing a data-driven approach to evaluate digital marketing efforts through effective reporting capabilities and analysis, including the use of business intelligence tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms

  • Developing ad copy & imagery, and executing keyword research & audience targeting discovery

  • Building and analyzing monthly & quarterly reporting dashboards, determining effectiveness of all marketing campaigns across both online & offline channels, and providing actionable insights

  • Configuring goals, triggers, and tracking snippets using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Meta

Email Marketing

Possibly the most powerful tool in a marketing toolbox—and a personal favorite—my email marketing experience is all-encompassing, from designing branded templates, crafting campaigns, building audience segments, and everything else that happens before, during, and after I push that daunting “send” button.

  • Cleaning up even the messiest of audience lists to become valuable data for customer segmentation

  • Developing and executing email campaigns that drive repeat business in addition to new customer acquisition, including lifecycle, trigger, and promotional campaigns

Editorial

While my marketing background is diverse, I can confidently claim that I shine the most when it comes to copywriting & editing. During & following my time studying at the best journalism school in the country (says USA Today) at the University of Missouri, I gained experience as a writer, producer, and editor for a wide range of media outlets & clients.

And don’t worry — I don’t have a strong opinion on the Oxford Comma, so mold me as you wish to whatever your brand’s heart desires.
